Everyone has a story about their home: parties, DIY gone bad, gardening, moving in, moving out, etc.

It's funny to think about it, but since the basement can be almost a third of the home how many memories we store in the basement.

Did you use to use the basement as a fort as a kid? Do you have a model train set up down there that you love? Is that where your band practices? Did you ever live in a basement apartment during college?

Think back - Think now - What stories do you have about your basement: Happy, Scary, Good or Bad - We'd like to hear them

Hello John,
Although most children love the thought of roller blading and riding bikes etc in the basement...if it is damp or wet down there it may not be a great idea. Even though 40% of the air you breathe on the first floor comes directly from the basement, I would not recommend spending extra time down there if possible. Molds and mildew can often trigger allergies, and in some cases with kids....teach them to start having allergies. I would highly recommend you talk to their doctor and ask him his opinion.
Meanwhile, we have a fantastic de-humidifier/air purifyer to help you out...it can take up to 65 pints of water out of the air a day need be, and filters the air down to 2 microns...This should be of significant help in the health of your home.
Please call Pioneerbasement about our Santa Fe. We would be happy to send you some information and/or schedule a Project manager out to your home to explain all the bennifits this product has to offer.
Good luck, and stay dry.
