So from my blog, and emails, I found that there was some confusion on the term "100 yr flood" and what that can mean for basements of all sizes.
Steve Andras, president of Pioneer Basement, sent me this link to help explain some of the math and myths about 100 yr flood conditions.
Yes: more than 1 - 100 yr floods can happen in the same year.
The term is based on average data over a long period of time detailed about a specific body of water. Each body of water has a 100 yr flood level that might be different than another.
etc.
There is plenty of information!
