The problem I'm having is that water is comming in from my bulkhead floor in two spots. The first spot seems to be where the floor and the wall meet under the stair case. The second; it appears to me when they poured the floor for the bulkhead they did it in two lifts and water is coming in where the seams meet. My original thought was to cut out a section of concrete dig out the hole and pour the walls and floor of the hole and drop a sump pump in the hole. I didn't know if there would be an easier way to solve this problem. It is the only spot in the basement that gets water, and I don't know if it is coming up from the bottom or if is seaping in from above.

This is a problem you do not want to handle yourself. Hire a professional. Bulkhead generally are a difficult problem to handle. 1st) The bulkhead footer is usually solid, with thickness of concrete as much as 12 inches +. I would never recommend a sump pump being placed in your bulkhead (under stairs). Locate the SuperSump in the basement to the right or left of the bulkhead. Then install WaterGuard sub floor drainage system and tie it into this SuperSump. A Trench drain across the bulkhead stairs and the job is finished.
