Hello,
I purchased a house a year ago, and I'm becoming quite concerned about how the house is settling and what options I have to fix them.
The basement is dry, and partially finished, so I'm not concerned about water coming in at the time being. However, I notice uneven floors in the kitchen, and two walls (one on the main floor, one in the basement) that have noticeable cracks in the drywall. Now, I would like to remodel the kitchen and re-level the floors, but I'd really like to get things "done right", if possible.
Also, I have a cracked floor in my garage such that there are gaps under either end of the garage door. I believe I can fix this by simply filling in these gaps with a concrete resurfacer.
I know this is a lot to chew at once, but I appreciate any feedback you might have.
Thanks in advance!
