Looking for advice and a good contractor..
I have a ranch style home with a pored foundation. We purcahsed the home 2 years ago but have not used the finished basement due to moisture concerns.

The Good: thier is a raised section of the floor (aprox 3 inches in depth) that is roughly 30 x 15 this is the only area that was finished.
Thier is a sump pump. Thier is a modern parmiter system around the back wall and a few other portions. They are calling it a 3/4 system. The front wall appears to have an old french drain.
The Bad: No battery back up. With the recent ice storm and power outage we had no sump and hence water.

So we need to redo. I would like to know if anyone can suggest a good contractor as well as any suggestions. on the french drain. Do we replace?

Thanks
Mike

What town or city is the basement in?

We could easily look at that and recommend updates and protections for your space.

It's always easier to just call us directly: 1-800-649-6140

but if you'd like you can email me, or steve (the guy who answered first) and contact you that way.

Just let us know the address, town, state, zip and your phone number and we can get back to you.
