I have a second home in Maine, built in 1978, with cast concrete basement walls on 3 sides. The outside was not tared or insulated, and with the recent high humidity and rain, the walls are wet, and contributing to high humidity and condensation in the cellar. What would be the best/EASIEST solution to stopping this moisture permeating through the walls? Some of the walls have been painted with a white paint which is flaking off.
