I installed a waterproofing systems last year and now plan on refinishing the basement. Do you still recommend the Thermal Dry system and who would I contact about it? I am being told by contractors that I do not need a flooring system, that the newer breed of carpets are pretty resistant to moisture. Your thoughts. Thanks

We do not recommend using ThermalDry Flooring as we had issues with the corners of the tiles were cupping. Because of the tiles just over lapping moisture still comes up from each seam. I would recommand using a rolled membrane called FloorShield. It has very few seams, is easier to install and you can seal the seams with a vapor barrier tape. The product can be purchased thru www.grateproducts.com
