I bought a house last summer with a "dry basement". Come to find out it has a few leaky spots. I have downspouts that extend from the corners out a few feet, and this weekend redirected a drainage pipe which was fed by one downspout and re-graded the away from the foundation. Prior to this i tried to plug the cracks with hydrolic cement which did slow many of the areas but we are still not dry. After speaking with neighbors it seems than many of them are damp/wet as well and looks like we may have a high water table. Any better solutions?
