We have a sump pump system by Wayne with a fine routing of piping to a good drainage area. On a scale of 1-10 it works about an 8. We are looking for a good backup system in case of electrical failure. We are looking at SumpGenius on nextpower1.com of which you are a dealer. Can you furnish us the cost to replace our Wayne and can I install it myself. I do replace the Wayne every couple of years myself at $120.

Thanks very much

Lou

Lou, it's been a while.

We have plenty of styles of battery back ups. Some people just want added protection and some want a solid solution for power loss which occurs seasonally.

I'm a big fan of the PHCC 2400 Pro-Series Battery Back up which we have in house. Comes ready to serve for 18 battery charged hours, but while the power is working, the pump uses AC power in order not to pull from the batteries.

Good to hear from you. Not much has changed since my Post in April 2003. Batteries is the way to go, so I will print and store your Post today, June 24, 2008. The PHCC 2400 might be a good replacement for my two marine batteries. How do I get a picture and ordering price. My address might be had, if you email me at:

Louis26@xxxxxx.net

I take it you are a contractor for Grate Products. Might I find you and them on the Web ?

Thanks, again,

Lou

P.S. PM ? Past Master? ? ?

PM: Project manager;-) Close though lol.

I'm glad that you contacted us back...i'll just moderate your email address so that bots can find it.

you can contact us at www.pioneerbasement.com or you can look and see if there's anything on www.basementdepot.com I don't know if they sell them...but why do it yourself, when you can have a professional take care of it.

I think it'll be a perfect replacement for your current set up.
