Hello,
I currently have your 24 inch deep sump basin, battery backup pump, and a pump with an attached tether float switch. The tether switch is set for the pump to go off when the water level reaches 15 1/2 inches. If I had no tether switch, the pump would go off constantly and be overworked.
I will soon have installed an ISP40 system. My questions are:
Does the ISP40 system replace both the battery backup AND the electric pump?
If so, is it possible to set the ISP40 to go off at 15 1/2 inches like my old pump?
Thanks!

I would have to check with your system design rep, but usually we do not use the ISP 40 as a primary pump. I believe it will replace your current battery back up pump. The ISP 40 will pump much more water than your current battery back up and I imagine that is why the rep recommended it. It will probably be raised up on a Pump Stand so that your primary pump would work first and then the ISP 40 would operate if the water level came up pass where the primary pump should turn on.

Hope this helps and feel free to contact me at steveA@pioneerbasement.com with your name and address and I can look at your proposed work, and give you more info. Thanks for visiting pioneerbasement.com SteveA
