The street our house is built on has a spring underground. Our house is close to the bottom of the street. When we have heavy rains such as this past one, the water seeps up from the basement floor near to where the floor and wall meet and flows along the basement. Since we are on a spring, what are our alternatives to preventing this?

Water perched in the ground can pocket and cause hydrostatic pressure from under the slab. We would treat it the same way as a standard sub floor drainage system with the exception of the pump. I would request a free written estimate from one of our Certified Waterproofing Professional - he can make recommendation as to the location of the SuperSump and the type of pump needed to protect you from this situation when it happens.
Hope This Helps SteveA 1-800-649-6140
