My wife and I are looking into an early 1900's victorian. It has a brick fondation with stucco over it. The reason I know this is that in a 3 square foot area the stucco has released from the brick substrate. The house has been vacant for a little over a year and, after the winter we had in western Mass. I can expect water damage in almost any vacant property I look at, however I am a little nervous with this damage. It is not the size of the visable damage that worries me but the size of the home that sits atop the foundation. I am looking for any advise you can give me in properly determining the damage and who in my area I can contact for solutions to my concerns.
If you have a direct link, I would be more than happy to forward you a few pictures I took of the area.
Regards
