Five years ago I bought a house built in th 1920's with a fieldstone foundation. At the time of purchase there was a new coat of what I assumed was waterproofing paint on all of the inside cellar walls. Well, five years later the paint is cracking and desintigrating on all of the walls. especially in the areas where I do get some small water leaks. What can I possibly do to rectify this situation?

I would recommend that with a stone foundation you get a free written estimate from one of our Certified Waterproofing Professionals. Stone foundations are the hardest to install a water control system. Stones move during seasonal changes, that is why the paint and coating will crack. I hope this helps. Call 1-800-649-6140 to schedule a free estimate. Thanks SteveA
